Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gary Berman graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1981. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies. He was named Michigan Dental Citizen of the Year in 2002 by the Michigan Dental Association and Dentist Citizen of the Year in 2006 by the Detroit District Dental Association. Dr. Berman is board certified in Forensic Dentistry and was part of the initially responding disaster team (DMORT) to both the World Trade Center and Hurricane Katrina disaster. He has also taught courses throughout the United States including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado and Florida. He is a past president of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, a past president of the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a past Chair of the Odontology Section of the American Academy of Forensic Science and is the morgue operations chief for the state of Michigan's MiMORT disaster team. Dr. Berman has also co-authored text book chapters on Dental Identification and Disaster Victim Identification.
Dr. Kenneth Fox is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fox believes a healthy mouth and a shining smile are signs of a successful visit to his dental office. Dr. Fox regularly takes continuing education classes so he can provide the best care for his patients and offer them the latest advances in dental treatment.
Dr. Beth Rosenberg is a 1997 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. She has a masters degree in Biostatistics, and taught at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. She is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Rosenberg works part time, spending much of her time as "Ian and Emily's mom". Dr. Rosenberg believes that a pleasing smile can be achieved for everyone with no pain. Dr. Rosenberg's many continuing education courses helps not only to keep her current, but now allows her to do invisalign and braces in op office.
Dr. Kyle DiRenzo grew up in Loudoun County, Virginia. He graduated from University of Michigan with a B.S.E. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2013. He completed his DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. He recently finished his General Practice Residency at the University of Michigan. During his studies Dr. DiRenzo participated in several research projects, including the effects of lidocaine and articaine on neuronal cells. He resides in Ann Arbor with his wife and dog. His interests include hiking, camping, and basketball. Dr. DiRenzo works in both the Westland and the Belleville locations.
Dr. Colleen Allen has recently moved to Indiana. We will all miss her and wish her only the best.
